Orthotic Therapy

Through an evaluation of the foot and ankle, biomechanical assessment of your stance, walk and running pattern, custom orthotics are designed and fabricated to control abnormal motion within the lower extremities. The goal of orthotic therapy is to minimize the abnormal motion at the foot & ankle (i.e. excessive pronation) which may have consequential effects on the joints all the way up to the spine. Optimal alignment at the lower extremities will help prevent cumulative injury cycles incurred with activities such as hiking, running or cycling.

Sometimes simply buying a pair of store-bought insoles such as “superfeet” or “powerstep” is all you may need.
